The hotel was bigger than expected for a single room and nice and quiet, with a good signal for phone and internet, but it was boiling hot and needs a total refurb. The service was really friendly and accommodating, with a willingness to change rooms without fuss due to TV issues. The location was ideal for basic needs but not in the best area, close to bars and pubs. The dining experience had a nice variety but disappointingly cold upon arrival. The facilities were basic with room for improvement.

The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were a bit smelly and cold with dirty carpets, needing a refurbishment, although they were clean while basic. The service seemed inconsistent, with some staff being rude and unfriendly but others were nice and friendly. The location was great, with easy access to the city center, next to the station and within a short walk to the main town. The dining experience was disappointing, with high prices and some dishes not worth the cost.
